Eastman Chemical Company recently announced that it would increase the price of isobutanol, n-butyl ethanol, diethyl alcohol, n-propanol, n-butyraldehyde, propionaldehyde and various grades of propionic acid by US $0.03 per pound. This price increase has been implemented in North America since April 1 (propionic acid is implemented in North America and Latin America by clearing the torque value to zero
